In the past year, Julia has been an exceptional industry leader. She has tirelessly led members and partners through the pandemic and bravely lobbied government, on behalf of members, both leisure and business travel as well as the entire travel industry in the UK and overseas.

Julia played an active role in the Save Future Travel Coalition, remaining committed to do all it can through its campaign and lobbying efforts including participation in the Government Global Travel Taskforce workstream and two Whitehall roundtables with department representatives of the Cabinet.

Julia was instrumental in Advantage and WIN being co-signatories of the open letter to President Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson urging the opening of travel between the USA and UK as soon as safely possible.

Our proactive media support and communications strategy have all been aimed at supporting our members and keeping the focus on both the benefits of booking with a human travel agent and also what financial support agents need across all of the UK.
